Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By accessing or using BestMe, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use BestMe for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use BestMe only with that valid consent. Access currently requires Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

3. Beta service

BestMe is in beta. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors, or be temporarily unavailable. We may add, remove, suspend, or limit features as we learn from usage and feedback. Please report issues to navneet@bestme.in.

4. Educational purpose

BestMe provides short-form general education. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, legal advice, financial advice, investment recommendations, or another regulated professional service. Verify important information and consult an appropriately qualified professional before acting on it. See the Educational Disclaimer.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use BestMe unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Probe, scrape, copy at scale, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service except where law expressly permits it.
• Upload or transmit malware, abusive material, or information you do not have the right to share.
• Misrepresent BestMe content as professional advice or as your own publication.

6. Content and intellectual property

BestMe and its original interface, branding, text, structure, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Source references remain the property of their respective owners. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use BestMe for lawful learning purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.

7. Feedback

If you send suggestions, corrections, or ideas, you allow us to use them to improve BestMe without payment or obligation. Do not include confidential or sensitive information in feedback.

8. Third-party services and links

BestMe relies on third-party services and links to external sources. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, or terms. A link is provided for context and does not necessarily imply endorsement.

9. Availability and termination

You may stop using BestMe at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these terms. Account deletion requests can be sent to navneet@bestme.in.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, BestMe is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that every item will be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting consumer rights that apply under mandatory law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the concern. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction over unresolved disputes.
