1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar browser-storage technologies can remember limited information between page loads or visits.

2. What BestMe uses

• Authentication cookies: Supabase session information used to recognise a signed-in user, refresh a valid session, and sign the user out.
• Security and routing data: information needed to protect requests, complete the OAuth callback, and deliver the correct page.
• Local interface state: limited device-side state that may support saves, progress previews, or interface preferences while beta features are being developed.

3. Advertising and analytics

BestMe does not currently use advertising cookies or sell information for targeted advertising. If we introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.

4. Your controls

You can remove or block cookies using browser settings. Blocking essential authentication cookies will prevent Google sign-in and may make the learning feed unavailable. Signing out clears or invalidates the active BestMe browser session as supported by the authentication provider.
